Artist Celia Barbieri creates these fabulous flowers made of buttons and her own clay embellishments. No two button flowers are alike and each ceramic button was made individually with great care and attention to detail. The designs on the handmade ceramic buttons continue to evolve over time and the textures come from mostly found objects such as mani prayer stones from Tibet, bicycle cogs, peach pits, and pieces of jewelry.
